Day 2: Athens

  • Athens sightseeing with visit of the Acropolis and the new Acropolis museum
  • Lunch in Plaka offered by our company
  • Afternoon transfer to a Hammam in Athens
  • Return to the hotel
  • Welcome dinner overfacing the Acropolis and the Parthenon at the hotel’s awarded with Michelen star roof top restaurant
Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth & its Museum & Memea Wine Tasting

Day 3: Corinth – Nemea

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel and departure for the classic tour arrival at Corinth canal
  • Short stop for photographs and departure to ancient Corinth
  • Visit the archeological site and the museum
  • Arrival at Nemea wine tasting and lunch at the winery
  • Free  dinner overnight at the hotel in Nafplion center
Mycenae – Tomb of Atreius & Museum, Epidaurus – Ancient Theater & Museum, Nafplion

Day 4: Mycenae – Epidaurus – Nafplion

  • Buffet breakfastin the hotel and departure to visit Mycenae site museum and the tomb of Atreus father of Agamemnon
  • Continue to Epidaurus, visit the theatre and the museum
  • Return to Nafplio
  • Afternoon free to stroll around in the neoclassical city
  • Free dinner in Nafplio overnight at the hotel in Nafplion
Monnastery of Loukou, Sparta Museum, The Statue of Leonidas in Sparta & Monemvasia Castle

Day 5: Nafplion – Sparta – Monemvasia

  • Departure from Nafplion to the 10th century Monastery of Loukou
  • 45 minutes visit of the monastery with treats by the nuns loukoumi and coffee
  • Departure to visit Sparta and its museum
  • Arrival in Sparta visit the statue of Leonidas and the museum of Sparta and lunch on your own in Sparta
  • Departure to Monemvasia arrival after 1 hour and 30 minutes
  • Dinner overnight at Monemvassia hotel inside the ancient walls of Monemvassia  
Elafonissos, Monemvasia

Day 6: Neapolis – Elafonissos – Monemvasia

  • Visit Elafonissos for swimming
  • Lunch and return to  Monemvassia afternoon
  • Tour of the city up to the church of Agia Sofia on the top of the castle
  • Dinner on your own with the wonderful sunset view on the castle, in the old byzantine town of monembassia
  • Overnight at the hotel
Ancient Messini – Archaeological Site & Museum, St. Theodore in Vasta

Day 7: Ancient Messini – Olympia

  • Buffet breakfast and departure to  Ancient Messini from Monemvassia  (160 klm)
  • Arrival in Ancient Messini visit the site and the museum
  • Lunch in Ancient Messini in a traditional restaurant on your own
  • Departure to Olympia on the way short stop to Agia Theodora church in Vasta village  where 16 big trees are standing on the roof of the little church and this is a miracle of architecture and nature
  • Arrival at Olympia at 16:00, free time to rest
  • Dinner overnight at the hotel

Day 8: Olympia – Delphi – Arachova

  • Buffet breakfast in the hotel
  • Visit of the Olympia site and museum
  • Departure to Delphi
  •  Arrival in Delphi and in Arachova hotel

Delphi – Temple of Apollo, Museum & Arachova Village

Day 9: Delphi – Arachova

  • Cooking lessons
  • Visit Delphi site and the museum
  • Return to Arachova
  • Lunch and free time to stroll round the village
  • Dinner on your own in Arachova
Meteora

Day 10: Meteora 

  • Breakfast in the hotel and
  • Departure to visit Meteora. Arrival in meteora after 3 hrs drive approx.
  • Visit Dimos Arc with the ancient greek species of animals and traditional bbq lunch in a tavern by the ranch. Mr Dimos has a farm with the most rare spices of greek animals that he saved and there we can see the famous cows of Katerini that are the same as the bulls and cows form the period of King Minos in Crete ,the mini horses from Skyros ,the small goats from Sporades and Skopelos island ,the black pigs of Ancient Greece  the horses from Thessaly as the horse of Alexander the Great Voucefalas etc .After the visit we will have lunch and will depart visit the monasteries
  • Dinner overnight at the hotel in Meteora
Vergina – Tomb of Philip II & Museum, Thessaloniki – White Tower

Day 11: Vergina – Thessaloniki

  • Departure to Thessaloniki on the way we stop for the visit at Vergina royal tombs visit the tomb of Philip the father of Alexander the Great and the tomb of Alexanders son  with Queen Roxane
  • Lunch on your own in near by restaurant and departure to Thessaloniki (40 minutes drive)
  • Arrival in Thessaloniki, orientation tour from the upper city and the castles
  • Arrival at the hotel inThessaloniki
Pella – Archaeological Site & Museum, Aristotle School, Thessaloniki – White Tower, Rotunda, Ladadika

Day 12: Pella – Thessaloniki

  • Breakfast buffet in hotel and departure to visit Pella the ancient city of Alexander the Great and its museum (1 hour drive from Thessaloniki)
  • Visit Miesa, Aristotle’s school where Alexander and his companions studied and then we will visit Lefkadia the Macedonian noble tombs. They will open them for us to visit them!
  • Return to Thessaloniki for the rest of the tour visit Rotonda Galerius tomb today the church of Saint George and the church of Agia Sofia copy of Agia Sofia in Konstantinople as Thessaloniki was considered as a second Costaninople of the period. WALKING TOUR in the center and return to the hotel
  • Free time during tour for lunch
  • Farewell dinner at a typical restsaurant in Ladadika area the old part of Thessaloniki with food tasting with plates from all over Greece –wine tasting in the restaurant with taste of three different wines of the region
  • Overnight at the hotel

Day 13: Thessaloniki

 

  • Buffet breakfast in the hotel and free time till the transfers to the airport for departure
