Day 3: Athens

Monastiraki (Flea Market), Loukoumades, Greek coffee, Cooking Classes, Ermou Street, Souvlaki

  • Cooking lesson at a well – known tavern in Athens, including transfer
  • Walking tour in Athens to the Central meat, fish & fruit market
  • Loukoumades (the typical Greek honey soaked doughnuts) tasting
  • Greek Coffee in Monastiraki (the famous Greek Flea Market) or Psyrri (the boheme area of Athens)
  • Return to the taverna in Plaka o enjoy the meal we prepared earlier
  • Free time to stroll around Athens & discover hidden corners of the city or do some shopping in Ermou Street & in Plaka area
  • Souvlaki Dinner at a famous typical restaurant in Monastiraki
  • Transfer to the Hotel & overnight

 

Day 4: Delphi

Delphi – Apollo Oracle & the Museum

  • Departure to Delphi
  • Visit to the Archaeological site & the museum
  • Departure to olive oil tasting & pick-nick under the olive trees in the olive groove o0f Delphi with 1.500.00 olive trees approx.
  • Olives, feta cheese & spinach pie tasting as well as home made cheese pies and Greek salad
  • Departure towards Itea.  Check-in at the Hotel there.
  • In groups, we will be hosted by different Greek families to spend time & have dinner with them at their houses.  Food tasting with meals prepared by moms & grand  mothers, especially made for us
